Monet- Artist Study for Kids

This Artist Study is for Kids ages 6-12! 

We will teach you about the life and art of French Impressionist Claude Monet! 

Students will be able to identify some of Monet's famous artworks, tell you about his life, identify what an impressionist is, and create their own Monet like piece of art.

Art skills / techniques that we will cover are:
-masking with watercolor
-wet on wet technique with watercolor
-wet on dry technique with watercolor
-overlapping to create depth
-adding shadow
-Plus, A bonus lesson going over color mixing, symmentry, and reflection

We walk you through all of this using the written and video format! 

You will also get an artist poster to print out and hang, flashcards to help identify art pieces, and book recommendations for further learning!
